W7ECW Special Event Station will be setting up at the eastern-most tip of Parking Lot 6, closest to the swap meet area on the south side of Grand Sierra Resort. It will be just southwest of the swap meet, near the emergency vehicles, communication vans and other static displays.

This year we will be featuring a two element tri-band beam with both elements phase driven in order to work better at the low height of about 13 feet. With band conditions far better this year there should be lots of activity on the higher HF bands.

The station will set up early (0600) Saturday morning and operate as long as there is interest and at least until the swap meet finishes up at Noon.
